It is our
honor and pleasure to assist you in selling your property. In order to make the experience a positive one
for all, the below policies are in place so both parties have a clear
understanding of expectations.
MMC primarily focuses on consignment/sale of: home furniture, decor and accessories; art
(original - local artists past and present are most welcome); and jewelry (not fine). Antique to contemporary. Miscellaneous
items such but not limited to books, greeting cards, specialty clothing and
handbags may be accepted.
Items not accepted include
but are not limited to appliances, electronics, exercise/sports equipment,
children’s toys and most clothing.
Photo and description (ex. material, size, date, maker) of each item
should be brought in to store, mailed or emailed to MMC (info@magnoliamews.com) for preliminary evaluation to determine
salability.
All consigned property should be clean and in good condition (free of
major damage - average wear from normal use, ok.)
Consignor shall make appointment with MMC to deliver consigned property
during business hours. Property dropped outside business hours is assumed donated to MMC and
becomes the property of MMC.
MMC has the right to refuse property prior to delivery or upon
inspection.
Consignor arranges for delivery/pick up of property with/without independent
mover – MMC staff is not responsible for delivery of property or moving heavy
items.
It is the responsibility of the property owner to remove unsold
property from MMC within specified timeframe.
The laws of California shall govern the MMC Consignor/consignee
agreement. In the event of any legal
action, the prevailing party shall be entitled to reimbursement for Attorney
fees not to exceed $500.
